POSITIVEWARE SELECTED FOR PRESTIGIOUS INVESTMENT CONFERENCE
CEO Charles Von Thun to present at Rockies Venture Club
18th Annual Colorado Capital Conference
(Denver, Colo. – May 31 2006) PositiveWare has been selected as one of eight companies to present investment opportunities to potential angel and venture investors at the Rockies Venture Club’s 18th Annual Colorado Capital Conference.
Founded in January 2004, PositiveWare is a web application for project management and time tracking for billable services companies. The application gives managers an at-a-glance understanding of project status and empowers them to track hours and assign tasks to employees and contractors for optimum efficiency. It was named the 2005 Colorado Software and Internet Association’s Rookie of the Year.
In addition to the investor presentation, PositiveWare will also present its marketing plan during a panel session entitled “Workshop III: The Apprentice”.
Citing faster-than-expected growth, PositiveWare intends to use private funds for marketing and further development of the application in the U.S. and internationally.
“With a target market of millions of users, it is imperative that we raise funds to reach these users to enable them to benefit from better cost control, easier project management, and faster growth, ” said Charles Von Thun, PositiveWare founder.
Now in its third release, PositiveWare clients range from Avaya to Verizon in addition to local firms, like Decisioneering, Vericept, Inc., Education Partners, and Wall+Aiello PR.
The all day conference on June 8, 2006 begins with registration at 7:30 am. The eight chosen companies will present beginning at 2 p.m. at the Rockies Venture Club Investor Fair at the Denver Marriott Downtown City Center, 1701 California St, Denver. CO.
