PW 2.0.7 Released

With this release we focused on increasing the flexibility of permissions, to allow very discrete control of what every user can see and edit when the log in. One of the implications of this permissioning is that an employee type called Freelancer can be set up to book time against a project or task and not have visibility into the rest of the client or project tree. In addition, we set up functionality that disables time tracking at the client level, effectively forcing users to create discrete projects or tasks. 2.07:

  • Creates Permissions attribute to enable discrete permission control.
  • Creates Permissions link on Setup to create global permissions for every user.
  • Adds Edit Permission button when editing a Client or Project to override global settings.
  • Creates Freelance employee type.
  • Creates option to disable time tracking at the client level.
